My body coordination started to fluctuate, panic is around the corner and I’m starting to lose focus, my lungs shouting for air. I can see the edge of the pool, I know of course that it’s not such a great idea to open your eyes and expose it to pool-water but I really have to do this. Trying to relax myself and go a little more, I looked at the bottom of the pool– the reflection of the sun rays and the sky made the bottom a majestic place. It calms me for some seconds as I felt the first touch at the edge. I pull myself up and started to pant. And decided to go, one more time. (more…)
There was silence as she walks down the aisle, as the guest looked at her with adoration and some sort of pity. She bite-off the thought of turning back and running towards the door, away from this feeling that people called as “the cold feet” that every bride-to-be usually feels. She smiled because it was the only right thing to do; because if she won’t, the tears might fall and might ruin her wedding. It’s her wedding, it’s the most special day of her life and she’s marrying the man of her dreams. The only man that she ever loved. This is her fairy tale.
There were petals falling down from the ceiling– just the way they wanted it to be. Every bridesmaid and groomsmen were dressed according to their favorite colors– just as planned as well. Oh! How charming and beautiful they look. The interior design of the church and even the administering priest were handpicked. It will be the wedding of the year. (more…)
When it’s your first time to program, the very first thing you’ll probably code is a “Hello World!” program. It’s a simple program, you’ll only code something that will display a “Hello World!” and it’s done. Tada! Your very first running code. Here’s the obligatory pat in the back and a salute.
Moving on, I titled this post as a Hello World post. Of course, this is also the title of the first example post that you probably had. And let me take this opportunity to say “Hi 2014! Glad to meet you. Please be good to me. :)” Tomorrow, I’ll be going back to Cebu– which means it’s the end of my week long vacation and time to face the reality of working again. It’s not really bad since I’ll be meeting the love of my life, my friends, my office mates and we’ll be reconnecting and catching up.
This vacation, although I just stayed at home most of the time— hibernating, I really had fun! I mean, I meet up with the people I want to reconnect with, I spent a lot of time with my family. Well, that’s really a good vacation for me; it’s a time detaching myself from work and the stress and the pressure around it. Well, this is somewhat a good vacation for me. 😛
I set up some goals for 2014 and hope I’ll be having a good 2014 year!
And hope we’ll be having a good and safe flight tomorrow. See you tomorrow Cebu! ^__^ I miss you!
