Life is a never ending experience. Just like in any game, you get experience to level up one notch. Along with experiences, life also offers a ground for learning– a never ending chance to learn. The subjects are wide, and they’re free– so it’s up to you if you want to learn or not. There are no pass or fail marks to haunt you, only learning and how you applied it in your life. (more…)
I get random thoughts when I’m walking. This is what I realized as I walked towards home. When I just let myself be in trance and open up for every word or thought that would cross my mind, I’m giving myself a chance to meditate. Some people need silence while I, on the other hand, prefer the sound of the cars as they pass me. I think it helps that I’m walking home alone, it’s just me and my thoughts. (more…)
Ki woke up because of the loud banging on the door. She sat up from bed and looked around. The room was still dark but the lights that were creeping under the door were enough for her to see. She slowly got up from bed, trying to be discreet so as not to wake three-year old Kenny. She tiptoed towards the door and peeped through the keyhole. (more…)

This is where it all began.
They said life is a big journey and where ever you are right now is just a step towards getting there– to your own somewhere, where everything you know or you’ve experienced would make sense. It’s the place where all your heartaches and pain where just guiding star, leading you to this one place. It’s the concept of planning and getting there. (more…)
F is for Fitness. For a healthier body and according to one of my swimming instructors: in fitness, food is not an enemy but a nourishment.
I woke up early today to go for a swim. I’m trying my very best to make it a habit to exercise every day or every other day. My alarm usually starts at 5:30 but I really wake up at around 7 AM, which is ironic thinking that I set it at 5:30. (more…)
My very first week in A to Z challenge 2014, to wrap it all up here’s the last entry for the week–an E post.
E is for Ebook and reading.
The fast pacing technology is upgrading each of our needs, as well as wants, as fast as it could. This includes hobbies such as running, reading or even writing. Everything seems to be a click away, or it can be everything can be on the go. Life seems to be on fast track that what seems to be okay or normal before can be obsolete or a little not practical today. (more…)
D is for that fruit that I truly miss — Durian!
Durian, if you don’t know it, is a fruit that is somewhat thorny on the outside, smells weird(if it’s your first time to smell it) and taste like heaven. Well, not for everyone, I know a lot of people who doesn’t like the smell and the taste of this fruit. As for me, who grow up where this fruit is accessible learned to love this fruit.
Walking in the grocery and looking at those two-seed package of Durian that cost around 150PHP (3 USD), makes me wanna grab the next airplane ride home, though I really don’t like plane. In Davao, a whole Durian would cost you lesser than in any other place because it’s the “Durian Capital of the Philippines”. During Kadayawan festival, one of the main attraction of the city, Durian are a little bit cheaper than the usual because it’s the season of the fruit. Durian is a must-taste when you go visit the city.
I totally miss eating Durian at home.
