She came home drunk. The world didn’t stood still. It was spinning and making her light headed. It was giving her all the happiness she needed.
When was the last time that she got drunk? A year ago? Or, was that before the marriage? Yes the marriage that was a fairytale. A supposedly-happily-ever-after. Until last night–until she saw him kissing Cassey at the restaurant. Kissing her passionately– killing their marriage at that instant– everything was shattered.
“You’re drunk,” he said. Eyebrows almost forming into a line.
She looked at him. Smiled, a bitter-sweet smile. Everything will never be the same.
